PROGRAMS - Cosmetology

This program requires 1600 Clock Hours to complete.  Full time student will take 40 weeks and part time student will take 60 – 72 weeks to complete.

* For your convenience, the San Francisco College of Cosmetology offers you the opportunity to follow your dream; you have an option to a flexible schedule that you can handle. 

The Cosmetology program covers haircutting, hair styling, chemicals, skin care, nails care and makeup.  Students in this program not only learn theoretical concepts, but also apply those concepts during laboratory work clinic practice under the direct supervision of an instructor.  Our graduates will be prepared to practice competently and confidently immediately upon graduation and taking the State Board Examination.  Occupations that are available to a Cosmetologist are:  hair stylist, esthetician, manicurist, makeup artist, representative for cosmetics and beauty products.

  • Wet Hair Styling
  • Thermal Hair Styling – Press and Curl
   
  • Permanent Waving
  • Chemical Straightening
  • Haircutting
  • Hair Coloring and Bleaching
  • Scalp and Hair Treatments
  • Facial – Manual, Electrical and Chemicals
  • Eyebrow Arching and Hair Removal
  • Makeup
  • Manicuring and Pedicure
